The park has two levels- the upper level with a playground and covered picnic area and the lower level with a large grass area and tennis courts/swimming pool near the back. Never overcrowded.

Wonderful wooded paths--unusual in a park located right in town. Check out the stream on the lower level. It was one of my refuges when I was growing up.
