If you do venture out: 10 mins walk to Good View Coffee/Tinkerbell/beach; 20 mins to Fisherman Hut/creek/diving shops; 45 minutes to Sa By Dee Café/store, and 90 mins to bank/police station/hospital.

Really great with kids! Shallow water for at least a hundred meters, sunny and shady spots, soccer and volleyball, ice cream, snacks, shakes. No need to go anywhere else if you don't feel like it.
