Aside from the beautiful grounds and villas, the real draw to this place is the roof of the shower rooms that are made of window screen. You’re literally showering with monkeys overhead! 🐒 🚿 🧼

The ceiling of the huge shower is just a screen, and the louver windows have no screen so you can heat the monkeys on the roof and geckos coma in. Kind of like half camping. 🐒 🦎

The grounds are awesome, and the multi-level villas are really cool, but dragging your luggage a kilometer to your room and fighting the geckos in your bathroom kind of sucks though. 🛀 🦎

Not sure how this place got 5* but avoid the DUPLEX DELUX rooms they are dilapidated and run down. There's a mini fridge from the 19th century. At best this is 3+* hotel. Stay somewhere else.

There might be Mosquitos in your bathroom if you have the outdoor shower. You can request a mosquito net for the bed so you don't get attacked in your sleep!

Fantastic dinner buffet for about 20 USD a person. Both continental and Sri Lankan choices, fresh pasta bar and yummy desserts. Good air con and live music too.

Its simply like a family. Very good service. There are 2 people called piyasiri [waiter] and jayasiri [Manager]. Those two people are very good like our family members taking care of us.
