Great interior but lacklustre staff training...from coffees being served without saucers to half painted ceilings..the staff badly needs training.

Bristol has two Marriott hotels, and although the Marriott Bristol Royal doesn't have a lounge, it is a very nice hotel just off the city centre and close to both shopping and restaurants.

I would avoid rooms on the lower floors on the Water Shed / Road side we had 1106 and it was very very noisy all night however they did offer free parking. Otherwise a very nice place to stay.
