This Sunnyside Mexican sandwich spot doesn't let a lack of liquor prevent them from serving a Frozen Margarita with Agave Wine, wine made from webber blue agave, the same plant that makes tequila.

The fried chicken cemita 👍🏼👍🏼 How they layer everything together is beyond me. The pickled onions were a surprise but an outstanding addition. Great happy hour too, 12-7pm 🍻🍻

A refreshing offer of cemitas from the mundane tacos and burritos (which they also have). Fried onion rings were great too- had it with the chives n onion sauce.

Had my doubts about the southern fried chicken cemitas, but they proved me wildly wrong. The chicken is spicy, crispy, and juicy, and works in beautiful harmony with the traditional cemita fillings.

All the central are delectable. Also loved the onion rings. Friendly staff and a good craft beer list. Great neighborhood addition.

Fantastic new addition to Sunnyside! A staple tent at Smorgasburg, great to see Cemitas with a brick-and-mortar venue. Fantastic sandwiches, burritos, and tacos in a cozy atmosphere. A must visit.
