Beautiful old temple near Telok Ayer. I would say one of the most beautiful if not the most beautiful temples in Singapore. Very peaceful atmosphere and beautiful architecture. Must see.

Wonderful temple!I remember the first time I visited it in 2005 & asked the Buddha that I was in Singapore. As you can see my wish come true!By the way, there is even a wishing well. And it's very nice!

Dedicated to Chinese goddess of the sea, Mazu, this temple shows Singapore's early cosmopolitanism, mixing European and Chinese architectural styles. Note those iron gates!

This taoist temple is very impressive for its gilded wooden cravings.

Thian Hock Keng Temple (The oldest Hokkien temple), Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and the Chinatown Heritage Center, which will give you a stealthly look into history.
