On the Queens bound F/M trains, be in the last car to transfer to the L/1/2/3 trains. On the Brooklyn bound F/M trains, be in the first car to transfer to the L/1/2/3 trains.

Staging tip - Stand at the end of the L platform (to get on the last subway car) for the 1st Ave stop. You'll shoot right up the exit when you get there.

One of the few stations in this city with cell phone signal! Look for the accordionist and violinist at S/B track, they're great!

You can make a call and use FourSquare down on the "L" train platform! Always could, since at least early summer 2011.
