Der "Sticky Toffee Pudding" war ein Gedicht (wenn auch nur eine sehr kleine Portion). Zählt zu den traditionellen britischen Gerichten, daher in jeder Hinsicht eine klare Empfehlung von mir.

Hatte den mit dem "Golden British Pie Award" prämierten "Steak & Nicholson's Pale Ale Pie" Füllung war vorzüglich. Der Teig selbst war mir zu langweilig. Geht mir aber eigentlichen bei allen Pies so.

Das Pub ist auf Pies spezialisiert und gewinnt hier auch regelmäßig Preise und Auszeichnungen. Wenn man also mal einen Pie essen will, dann sollte man es hier tun.

Sieht wirklich fantastisch aus. Die Decke mit Gold verziert wie in einer Kirche und sehr edle Wandtafeln aus Holz. Alles sehr rustikal. Schon rein optisch eines meiner Lieblings-Pubs
