If you come to Bayreuth for the Wagnerfest, this is a good choice for accommodation: reasonable price for the hotel, and a low-price shuttle to/from the Festspielhaus.

Hotel is comfortable & affordable, but NOT within walking distance of restaurants or Bayreuth. So, rent a car, or be prepared to take a lot of taxis.
