Clean, minimal, functional. Rates are cheaper on weekdays and multiple day stays. Family mart right next door and 2 blocks south of Shijo-dori. Sometimes you'll hear snorers though.

The showers and sleeping areas are separated by gender. To some it might feel coffin-esque, but I felt like I was sleeping in a futuristic chamber on a space station.

Get earplugs, other people are noisy! I brought a jumper which helped as the pillow was a bit hard. The capsules really fluctuate in temperature.

一言で言えばデザイナーズカプセルホテルです。京の街とは対照的に徹底的に未来的なデザインと白と黒のモノトーンだけでデザインされてます。設備はシャワーと、ロッカーと、休憩室と、カプセルのみ。しかし、河原町界隈でもよく探せば同価格帯のゆったりとしたビジネスホテルあるんですよね･･･

京町家の特徴の一つである格子を取り入れた外観で、一見するとカプセルホテルとは気付かない。隣にコンビニがあり、買い出しをするには便利。真っ白な内装に黒のサイン表示が描かれているだけのシンプルなデザイン。1階のラウンジにはパソコン台があるが、観光客の大型キャリーバッグの置き場と化していた。ロッカーは小さいので、大きい荷物はフロントに預けることを推奨。カプセルとロッカーは別の階にある。

You should try this ultra-modern space age capsule hotel. Minimalistic and functional. If Apple decides to come out with a hotel, this would be it.

One-of-a-kind capsule hotel bc it's clean, female-friendly & very modern. Couldn't get WiFi signal in capsule, but that's what lounges are for. Located near the Takashimaya store & main shopping area.
