Awesome place for a day trip from Tokyo. Book a Type 3 room for privacy and outdoor scenery. Book the opening hour from 10-11am so you have time for other activities in the Hakone region.

They discriminate you if you have tattoos, you have to pay a private bath or you'll not enter.

Authentic and a true Japanese onsen experience. Segregated public. At his totally worth the price. Towel is not included in the price and is 450 yen for a body sized towel.

崖に作った、見晴らしより木々に囲まれた落ち着く温泉だった。ガケ下から生えている気の葉っぱがいい具合に露天浴場を包み込み。晴れていたので、より木漏れ日と生える木々が綺麗だった。
